At Carvel Avocado PC, everything starts with a simple idea: growing amazing avocados and sharing them with people who love real quality fruit.
Back in 2019, before the company was even officially founded, Giannis Karvelas planted around 2,000 avocado trees in southern Crete, in the region of Heraklion. Since then, we’ve been taking care of them with passion, patience, and a lot of love for what we do. The unique Cretan microclimate and our hands-on farming practices make all the difference, giving us avocados that are truly special.
Greek avocados are not just another fruit on the market. They taste better, last longer, and are far more reliable than most imported ones. Once you try them, you’ll understand why we believe they’re some of the best in the world.
More recently, we’ve added ripening facilities in Athens. After arriving in pallets, the fruit goes through a carefully controlled ripening process. Every single avocado is checked, gets its “Greek Ready to Eat” sticker, and leaves us only when it’s in perfect condition.
What makes us different is that we handle everything ourselves—from planting and harvesting to ripening and delivering directly to our clients. Being fully involved in every step means we can guarantee top quality and consistency.
We’re a bit obsessed with details (in a good way!). For us, every avocado matters, and it has to be just right: ripe, tasty, and ready to enjoy. That’s why restaurants, wholesalers, and food lovers trust us to deliver fruit that never disappoints.
